Terms of Service
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ClarityForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are a legal agreement between you and Colm Center for Collaborative Innovation ("we," "us," or "our").
What ClarityForge is
ClarityForge is a guided self-coaching platform that uses AI-assisted reflection to help mission-driven leaders think clearly about purpose, decisions, values, and goals. The service includes structured tracks, journal storage, AI synthesis, and optional human review ("Clarity Review").
Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your organization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it updated.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Unlawful use, fraud, spam, or harassment
- Infringement of intellectual property rights
- Security interference, including attempts to probe, scrape, or introduce malware
- Reverse engineering, circumvention of technical limits, or unauthorized resale
- Using the service to generate illegal content, hate speech, or deepfakes
Intellectual property
We retain ownership of ClarityForge, its software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. Your journal entries, responses, and outputs belong to you. We do not claim ownership over your content, and we will never use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.
AI-generated content
ClarityForge uses AI to assist with reflection and synthesis. You are responsible for your prompts and how you use the outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not a substitute for professional advice in regulated fields (legal, medical, financial). We reserve the right to moderate content and suspend accounts for repeated misuse or rights-holder complaints.
Payments, subscriptions, and billing
Payments are processed by Stripe, which calculates and collects applicable taxes, sends receipts and invoices, and handles billing support, fraud protection, and dispute processing on our behalf.
For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, please refer to our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period. You can cancel anytime through your billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; you retain access until the end of your current period.
Service level
We strive to keep ClarityForge available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary disruptions.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. You may export your data before closure.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (loss of profits, data, or goodwill), except where prohibited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Colm Center for Collaborative Innovation is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or within the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
